Karen Hodge is an up and coming artist who deals mainly in an unusual medium of cosmetics - this contemporary art is very dramatic with bright vibrant colours. She has strong links with the Glasgow Studio Warehouse, Glasgow Design Collective, the White Gallery in Dundee and has had articles in Map Magazine. She has had exhibitions in the Affordable Art Fair London, the Edinburgh Gallery, sun Gallery and one of her unusual exhibitions was in the Tea Building at the London Fashion week, where her project was to produce a 2m x 6m 'works-in-progress' using cosmetics on calico for the duration of LFW.
